Privacy Policy

At Growffly, your trust is at the heart of what I do. I’m Ryan Clark, a UK based HubSpot consultant trading as Growffly. I help businesses unlock the full potential of HubSpot, from implementation and migration to training, audits and ongoing support. To do this effectively, I sometimes need to collect and use information about you and your business.

This Privacy Policy explains how I handle that information, how it’s kept safe and what rights you have under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

The Information I Collect

Most of the information I gather comes directly from you when you get in touch - whether that’s booking a consultation, signing up for updates or working with me on a project. This might include your name, contact details and business information relevant to the services I provide.

When you visit my website, some information is collected automatically through cookies and HubSpot analytics (for example, which pages you visit and how you interact with them).

When delivering services, I may also process business or customer data that you ask me to configure, migrate or manage within HubSpot.

How I Use Your Information

I only use your data for purposes that are necessary and legitimate. That includes:

  • Delivering the HubSpot services you’ve asked for

  • Communicating with you about projects, updates or support

  • Improving my website and services using analytics

  • Keeping records to meet legal and contractual obligations

All client information is securely stored in HubSpot CRM, which I use as my primary system for managing client data.

Legal Grounds for Processing

Under UK law, I rely on several lawful bases to process your information:

  • Contractual necessity - to provide the services you’ve engaged me for

  • Consent - for example, when you sign up to receive marketing updates

  • Legitimate interests - such as improving my services and maintaining secure systems

Sharing and Storage of Data

I never sell your information. I only share it when necessary to deliver my services, which may include:

  • HubSpot, Inc., which securely hosts my CRM and marketing platform

  • Approved third-party tools that integrate with HubSpot, when needed for a project

  • Legal or regulatory bodies, if required by law

Because HubSpot’s servers are based in the United States, your data may be transferred outside the UK. In those cases, HubSpot applies strong safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) to maintain UK GDPR protection standards.

Cookies and Tracking

Like most websites, I use cookies to understand how visitors use the site and to make improvements. HubSpot also places cookies to track page visits and form submissions.

You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings, and in some cases you’ll be asked to provide consent before they’re used.

Your Rights

Under UK GDPR, you have rights regarding your personal data. You can:

  • Request a copy of the personal data I hold about you

  • Ask for corrections if anything is inaccurate

  • Request deletion or restriction of your data

  • Withdraw consent at any time (where consent applies)

  • Request data portability to another provider

Unsubscribing from communications
If you no longer wish to receive marketing or update emails from me, you can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in marketing email or by contacting me directly at hello@growffly.com.

How Long I Keep Your Data

I keep your information only as long as it’s needed - to deliver services, meet legal obligations, or resolve disputes. Once it’s no longer required, I securely delete or anonymise it.

Keeping Your Data Safe

I take the security of your data seriously. Data stored in HubSpot is encrypted, protected by access controls, and hosted in secure data centres.

While no system is entirely risk-free, I use providers that meet internationally recognised security standards to minimise risks.

Changes to This Policy

I may update this Privacy Policy occasionally. When I do, I’ll update the “Last updated” date above. If any changes are significant, I’ll notify you directly.
